VCH now supports two factor authentication. This is an important feature for security. According to Microsoft “[two factor authentication] can block over 99.9 percent of account compromise attacks.” Although it may be a little annoying, it is important to use two factor authentication. It is not enabled by default at this time; however, in the future it will be.
A code will be sent to a user when they log in after a period of time (currently 24 hours), or if they change the device they are logging into VCH with. For instance, if a user logs into VCH using their cell phone after using it on their computer in the same day.
Codes are sent via text message or email. Please use the administrator console to update phone numbers and emails of users if they are out of date.
