Upload the images in this asset pack to your Media Library and replace each src value with the WordPress media URL. --><\/p>\n<h1>How to Upload a C-File to VCH<\/h1>\n<p>This guide explains how to download a Veteran&#8217;s C-File from Caseflow eFolder Express and upload the zipped C-File to VCH for storage and optional AI C-File analysis.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\" style=\"border:1px solid #ddd;padding:16px;margin:16px 0;\">\n<h2>Before you begin<\/h2>\n<p>Before accessing Caseflow eFolder Express, confirm that your firm has submitted a VA Form 21-22a power of attorney for the client through VCH and that the document status shows <strong>VBMS<\/strong> in VCH. The 21-22a must be accepted by VA before the C-File can be pulled in eFolder Express.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> Caseflow eFolder Express is only available while logged into the VA network with a PIV card and the proper credentials.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Step 1: Open eFolder Express<\/h2>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/cf.ds.va.gov\/\">https:\/\/cf.ds.va.gov\/<\/a>, enter your firm&#8217;s Station ID, and select <strong>Continue to PIV Login<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vaclaimhelper.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/step-1-efolder-station-id-redacted.png\" alt=\"Caseflow eFolder Express station ID login screen with station ID redacted\" \/><br \/>\n<\/figure>\n<h2>Step 2: Search for the Veteran<\/h2>\n<p>Enter the Veteran ID or Social Security Number in the search field, then select <strong>Search<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vaclaimhelper.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/step-2-search-veteran-id-redacted.png\" alt=\"eFolder Express search screen with Veteran ID redacted\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2>Step 3: Start retrieving the eFolder<\/h2>\n<p>If the search is successful, the Veteran&#8217;s documents will populate in a table. To help confirm that all documents have loaded, refresh the page twice.
